I invented a way to disassemble the new HP Q2612a Cartridge, used in HP 1018, 1020 printers. I made several helpful snapshots. I think all LASERjet cartridges are similars, but with new tricks. Find the method below Remove the Right Cover First.

Here is the Right Cover.

Right cover Removed.

Then Remove the Left Cover.

Be Careful about this Spring.

You should fix the Spring in the internal side in the time of re-assembly.

Open the Drum Door andhold it with your hand.

Remove the Drum Carefully as marked by fleshs.

How to detach the Drum.

Now pull out the rubber Cylinder.

Push these pivots as mentioned outward.

Cont.

Now,You reached your goal!

After you refill the Toner, clean everything by damp clothes. then reassemble in reverse manner. But be carefull again about this spring.

Use a hook to pull out the spring from the body, and push the Drum pivot until it stops, then release the spring.

I think you should understand now how to terminate the job.

N.B some of the old Toner will be driven to the waste basket inside the cartridge. It's better to clean it each second refill.
